extraordinary feeling
i've not had for awhile
sweeps over me like a wave
of warm water and sand
the sand will stick between my fingers
leaving me... memories
the little moments and the notes
every moment, is of moment
this isn't new...
or is it?
there's a vulnerability
a neediness
i can't seem to resist
like someone wants me,
maybe even needs me
what could be better
no one is alone
the looks, the expressions
not knowing exactly what is being thought
but then... knowing
thinking the same thing
having some backup
one who can explain when you can't
someone is on your side
the songs that speak to me
the notes, the tempo
just the right amount of brass
not feeling alone
