Road Journey from Hyderabad to Anantapur: by Bus

The city of Anantapur is located within the westernmost part of the state of Andhra Pradesh. This place is believed to be very famous among vacationers because the entire district of Anantapur is noted for its silk industry and holds quite a lot of history. Essentially the most noted tourist enchantment in Anantapur is the Lepakshi Temple. I always wanted to visit this place since a long time, so I quickly took online bus tickets at I simply was geared up to reach Anantapur from Hyderabad.

The road distance from Hyderabad to Anantapur is estimated to be 356kms and takes around 8 hours by bus. I opted for an AC sleeper bus, as they are comfortable for long night travelling. Moreover, Hyderabad is well connected by roadways; buses mainly link most of the places frequented by tourists. Anantapur being one of the most preferred locations in Andhra Pradesh is easily accessed by bus from Hyderabad. I boarded the bus from Kukatpally pick up location in Hyderabad at 9:30pm and reached Anantapur at 4:30am the next day. The bus gave rest stops and ensured that all passengers were experiencing a hassle-free ride. There are a decent number of bus companies offering services between the two cities and creating ample amount of travel convenience for many.

On the other hand, Hyderabad is the capital city of the state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh of South India. Sitting on the Deccan Plateau and being one of the broad urban areas in India, it is well associated with road transportation. Sudden travel plans work out smooth when bus is travelling vehicle. The bus transport shall take you through varied landscape, lovely lush green fields and vibrant territories.

As I reached the bus stop, I found my friend waiting for me. Overall, it was a great experience of traversing to Anantapur by a bus!

Recommended activities in Jurong, Singapore

Here’s how you spend a day or two in Jurong, Singapore—one of the finest and power-packed regions of the city.

Plan your travel well by looking for options that will save you money and time. Buses are the more preferred option for travelling to Singapore and you can take tickets from as well.

Tuas Secret Beach: Tuas has a secret beach! And it has clean, powdery sand and tranquil waters. The journey here is guaranteed to be pleasant. Picture your lone car cruising down long, winding roads, large fields that seem to have no end, and lalangs adorning every patch of green. Hardly anyone comes here, so it’s an ideal place for a romantic road-trip! If you are a peace lover then this is the place for you as it is a very peaceful beach.  Good place for meditation as well. However, check for trespasser warnings in certain areas, as if you are caught you can be booked and surely would not want to be booked when on a holiday.

Kranji War Memorial: Kranji War Memorial is dedicated to the men and women all over the world who died defending Singapore from the Japanese in World War II. With a heavy air of dignity and pride, the graves of 4,458 allied servicemen lie in neat rows on the green pastures. The place is well kept.  It is indeed a serene place to honour the heroes of World War 2.

Ice Skating: If you're tired of perspiring in Singapore's humidity, grab some friends down for some ice skating fun in Singapore's biggest ice skating rink at JCube. And if the words "ice skating" terrify you, don't worry as you'll be able to rent cute seal, penguin, or snowman aids to help navigate your way across the ice. The freezer under the ice must have a great capacity as the temperature above is quite comfortable for the people strolling in the mall.  You must plan your trip according to the scheduled intervals else it would collapse everyone to the end of the session when the ice is no longer fresh.

Be a ghostbuster: This one isn’t for the faint of heart. Jalan Bahar is said to be haunted as it used to be a cemetery before. So if you are into the paranormal and want to check for yourself if the rumours hold true, why not pay a visit to the place?

Shop till you drop: A specialty of Singapore, you will never tire of shopping in Jurong. From streets lined with the best in fashion, accessories, electronics and more, to the recreation of Hong Kong’s streets in malls such as Jurong Point Mall, shopping here is an entirely different experience.

Jumping in the trampoline park: Time to be a child again! Unwind, de-stress and burn off those extra calories at the same time as you jump about silly at the AMPED Trampoline Park here. This place is best enjoyed with a group of friends as you can challenge each other to sillier tasks.

Bus from Surabaya to Medan

Must visit French restaurants when in Malaysia

Think French cuisine, clean, sophisticated plates of vibrant flavors and colors fill your mind. French food is all of that and more. It is difficult to not imagine yourself sipping white wine in a cafe on a cobbled Parisian street, no matter where in the world it is that you are tucking into some heavenly French food.

Traveling to and from Kuala Lumpur is made easy by the number of express buses that take you destination quite conveniently. You can book these bus tickets online from a recommendable portal called redbus Malaysia.

These two restaurants in Kuala Lumpur will suffice your list irrespective of whether you love the cuisine or not.

Lafite: This restaurant tops the list for fine dining restaurants in Kuala Lumpur. its tranquil and warm lighting lift the delicate French dishes to another level altogether. And you have an extensively wide array of wines to choose from to complement your dinner. Signature dishes that you must definitely try include crayfish spaghetti timbale and fresh oysters and smoked salmon. It is known for the best wine and dine experiences. The place has an extensive range of wines and champagnes from all over the world. Every dining experience that the restaurant has to offer is tailored to your needs. I tried some of the freshest seasonal produce of Europe and the different flavors of it were just mouthwatering. The place is open from 12 noon to 3 PM in the afternoon and 7 PM to 10:30 PM.

Bistro a Table: It doesn’t get more classic French than this. It may not be a fine-dine place, but the homeliness of the place will transport you to Paris in an instant. The coddled maple syrup egg is a comfort food you will begin to yearn for at every other place you visit. The interiors are quite warm and cozy ensuring complete relaxation. The waiters are always around and are quite attentive.

Maison Francaise: Set in a converted three-storey mansion along Jalan Changkat Kia Peng, Maison Francaise (French House) is a French fine-dining restaurant with a romantic, vintage feel. With a classic Rolls Royce parked on the driveway out front and an interior design of white walls, terrazzo floors, modern crystal chandeliers and white tablecloth-covered tables, the decor is indisputably classy. I was here for brunch and it was quite exquisite with fresh oysters. The background music is always calm and soothing allowing you to have your meal in peace. The lighting is just right and subtle. The restaurant is more focused on the food before anything else. The kitchen is visible from a see-through glass.

It is separated into three areas: a private cigar lounge, main dining hall with a patio and an al fresco dining section surrounding a swimming pool. Heading the kitchen is executive chef Franck Lamache, who used to work in Les Ambassadors and Le Taillevent – Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris. Serving French food (with an emphasis on southern French dishes) the food is without a doubt tasty.

Traveling to Kuala Lumpur from Johor Bahru by bus

Johor Bahru is famously known as the Gateway to Singapore. However, the growth in tourism the city has seen a lot of stardom with shining skyscrapers and entertaining amusement parks. The nightlife of this city is completely lit with lights and attracts many tourists all-round the year in its vicinity. Signature landmarks like Lego Land, Johor Zoo and the famous angry bird activity park sees thousands of visitors in a single day. These places prove to be ideal when you are visiting them with your family and kids.

There is literally no end to cultural attractions in this beautiful city and it would take more than a day to explore these attractions. In 2008, the UNESCO termed this city as a world heritage site – thanks to the numerous attractions it has to offer. It is considered one of the largest city in Malaysia with a population of more than 2.7 million people. Some decent projects have claimed to transform Johor Bahru into a biggest financial centre of Malaysia in the coming years. There are about 16 million tourists visiting the city annually. Two bridges with the neighbouring country of Singapore connect the city. The Singaporeans consider Johor Bahru as one of the cheapest places to shop at.

Tourism has been booming in this city in the recent years and this is precisely because of its close proximity to Kuala Lumpur. This is the reason why I headed to Kuala Lumpur from Johor Bahru.  I looked up for this website called to book my tickets to Kuala Lumpur. The bus booking experience was quite smooth and fast.

There are about 4 Operators plying on the route between Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur. The City Express Operator, KBES, Causeway Link and Mayang Sari Express are the most famous Operators that provide bus services on this route. The City Express has about 4 buses plying throughout the day right from 12:30 midnight to 11:10 am in the morning. The total duration of the journey is about 4 and a half hours. However, if you leave during the night you should definitely complete your journey within 3 hours.  I generally sleep late at night so I booked the 2:00 am bus and I was in Kuala Lumpur by 5:00 am in the morning. The cost of the tickets start from MYR34 and go up all the way to MYR50 depending upon the class of Bus you book.

Another Operator that plies on this route is the KBES Operator, which has about 2 buses plying throughout the day – first one at 7:30 am and the other at 6:30 pm. I did not book tickets with this Operator as both the times, I was sure to encounter plenty of traffic on the road.  Mayang Sari Express and Causeway Link are the only two luxury Bus Operators plying between the two cities. The prices are a little on the higher side but that is justified with the services that they have to offer.

Things that make Sabah a must visit

Tiny in size, Sabah packs quite a punch with its gazillions of natural treats that will leave you feeling as though you have walked into paradise, as it was when the earth was first formed.

Travelling to Sabah is made easier by the fact that express buses now ply to major towns in Borneo. These express buses are also the most convenient option when it comes to travelling through the country, and you can book the tickets online as well, making life easier for you. Just refer to redbus for more information related to bus booking.

Jungles and parks teeming with the wild, mountains jutting out proudly against the skyline, welcoming diving sites—I give you five reasons to why Sabah is a natural paradise.

  1. Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary: Around 300 wild monkeys reside here, the proboscis monkey found only in Borneo.

  2. Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre: The smallest bears ever, watch them up close from an elevated viewing area or grab a telescope for further examination as you watch these beauties live in action in the wild.

  3. Tambunan Rafflesia Reserve: This Park is dedicated entirely to the world’s largest flower, Rafflesia, and the 12 species found here are native only to Borneo and Sumatra.

  4. Tawau Hills Park: A park replete with natural trails that will take you on a tour that crosses the Sungai Tawau stream, Bukit Gelas Falls, 11 hot springs and many such wonders. The park is home to numerous plants and animals species that are justbeautiful to watch. There are several low land orchids here but the one that I found to be the most spectacular was the elephant’s ear orchid. It is home to an abundant selection of flora and fauna and serves as oone of the best places if you are visiting with your friends and family. The plush greenery has made this one of the perfect places for a picnic or a hangout. If you are one of those who enjoy camping, the management allows you to spend a night here in the camps under a blanket of stars.

  1. Mt Kinabalu: This one needs no introduction. Its wild granite spherical peaks at 4,095 m above sea level, glinting in the morning sun, is a remarkable sight. The climb to the top of Mount Kinabalu is definitely exhausting but once you reach the top you feel quite rewarding. The mountain has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Sabah culture is diverse due to a wide range of different ethnicity. In the coastal areas, the Bruneian Malays and West Coast Bajaus have influenced Sabahan culture on the west coast side while in the east coast either East Coast Bajau, Bugis or Suluk cultures influence it with Islam being the important part of their lives. Christianity plays an important part to the indigenous cultures in the interior side in the daily lives of the Kadazan-Dusun,Lundayeh, Murut and Rungus beside their old practice of the traditional Animism and Paganism.
