These are just some pieces that I found in my note book, that I never really used except as free standing verse. Yes they sound similar, and have a beat like rap, but they were written at different times in different places, so I grouped them together.

This poem I wrote in about 2 minutes.... just practicing rhyming at first, but it led to so much more. Enjoy

I wrote this with 12 minutes left till the midnight of Easter morning. I don't feel like I've put the time and effort into making this week worth it. There's nothing I can change now, except to change myself right now. I wonder if anyone else feels this way. The longing to go back in time just a couple hours and say GET OFF THE COUCH AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE TODAY! I'm not particularly lazy, but I could do better. Apparently much, much better. And if anyone will take the time to read this, it is now 3 minutes till Easter. Goodnight. I'm about to start making a better next week right now, instead of worrying about this last week. Thank-you!

A poem I wrote about someone who is debaiting whether or not to let go.

I was driving home after a full day at the office and an equally full evening at the University. I was thinking about the book The Langoliers and punched this one out.

This poem is a very different poem that I just came up with. It's about when you have writers block and you're like fighting with your mind, because you can't come up with any good Ideas. (I didn't have writers block wile writing this poem!)
