Eyes squint,
A new day,
Birds chirp,
Footsteps heard,
Squeaky floor,
But not a word,
Hallway light clicks,
Kitchen sink,
Water runs,
Smell of coffee,
Day begun,
Alarm sounding,
Snooze button,
Now you're counting,
Blinds open,
With sunshine,
Yawning and stretching,
A wink of your eye,
Mug is ready,
You take a sip,
When you're done,
I kiss your lips,
Monday morning,
A new week,
Then I pause,
I kiss your cheek,
Clothes and shower,
Hair and shoes,
Eggs an bacon,
Maybe news,
Dawn til nightime,
Work past ten,
Tomorrow morning,
We do it again.

New Nurse's Assessment

The young man had a large gash on the lateral side of his right hand,
The serous fluid drained onto the surrounding reddened area,
Appeared to have been serrated,
Beefy red meat exposed at it's center in strands,

Doctor call came and she reported, "This looks infected".

Handing the file to the physician so he could inspect it,
To her horrid surprise, somehow laughter, she injected,
He handed the file to a colleage, with a sheepish grin, it was rejected!

Again the assessment was read by another,
Bursting with made her shudder,
Why on earth are they mocking this? What seems so funny?

And one of colleagues, stopped laughing and said, "Honey,

This is truly a serious matter, we've heard,
And your assessment is fine, except for one little word,
See when there's a wound oozing with purulent fluid draining,
To say there's pussy drainage coming from it, really distorts the meaning!!"

Dandelion Flurries

love unspoken, grows in deed,
inspires hope for all in need,
days and weeks,
they muddle through
the cracks
of time's substinance.

unheard lament
taps stealthily on the door
with discontent,
a memory lingering,
the crevices open
only to see the words unspoken.

bitterness cloaked
in a weak array
of what seems to be
endless decay,
a life missed, a goodbye kiss
never given, just thrown away.

cool breeze touches skin,
reaching down,
plucked a dandelion flurry,
love is like the wispy sound,
take a breath and blow it out,
bye bye flurries, erase the pout.

life, it can sweep you up in hurry,
when it leaves...sometimes there's worry.
it is hardly like nature
to feel love like this,
there must be something
that was missed.

Author's Notes/Comments:

sometimes we have to say goodbye to love. if it hurts too much, it isn't love, but something else inside that feeds the pain within us. when it is loss from death, we mourn, but love should live on and eventually conquer the pain of the loss. if it lingers to violently and causes havoc in our lives, always seek the answers within to find out what was missed. pick up the pieces, start again. eventually love will give the grace and wisdom to see things through for the best and the greater good of all.

Take my hand, it won't be far -
let's walk together into dark.
Reality can't cage our hearts,
I promise you it's just a start.

Are you afraid of word 'forever'?
Forget the meaning life has given.
The place I'll take you to is better -
be brave and break out of this prison.

Create a world anew from scratch,
mold its shape from void and silence.
The bluebird won't be hard to catch,
it's our home - the new asylum.

Been gone too long
Can’t let you in
Won’t let you see all the darkness within
Live in my dreams
So close to me
But now I see how things have to be

Deep in my head
My spirit’s dead
I just can’t live past my apathy
My fire’s out
Clouded with doubt
Now I see how things will have to be

Here’s a new life I’m making
So tired of bleeding and crying
Soon you’ll be there dying not me
Now I am driven
I’m finally living
Please take my soul
Lord, please take control of me

The light once mine
So long has been dying
Under the demon I once called Myself
It’s time to stand
Come take my hand
Won’t have to leave this for someone else

Here’s a new life I’m making
So tired of bleeding and crying
Soon you’ll be there dying not me
Now I am driven
I’m finally living
Please take my soul
Lord, please take control of me

I choose life
I choose love
I choose God
Above all else

Here’s a new life I’m making
So tired of bleeding and crying
Soon you’ll be there dying not me
Now I am driven
I’m finally living
Please take my soul
Lord, please take control of me

Something New

Wrapped up in a galaxy of stars that was formed by your breath.
I am only the reflection of the sun against warm glass.
Every word you speak is tiring,
so much effort to think there's any point to anything.
All I want to know is the light point in your eyes.
So teach me something new kus I've seen it all a million times.

Author's Notes/Comments:

My Human Design revealed to me so much truth within. Its like everyday is a new discovery of true self. Another present to opened and revealed from within me :) another gift I was not aware of until that present moment :) love.

The Beauty of the Muse - Lost Treasures ReDux

Lost Treasures

“The Beauty of the Muse”
By: The Dead Poet

Whisper to me your secret, I promise to keep it.
Confess your fear, and what you love as you have my ear.
Just close your eyes, the world evaporates and reality dies.

“There lies a sleeping beauty in her ivory casket
Beautiful and innocent to the brutality around her
As her hero becomes trapped within the devil's fortress.”

So much pain has passed through this soul of mine,
breaching the gates, using the same worn out line.
I suffer from a chemical imbalance,
Your stupidity bolstering your unbreakable chalice
No matter what is to be said, nothing will sway how you feel
a criminal mastermind for a heart you just had to steal.
Holding it within your hands, was crushing it part of your plans?
I am sorry I was not what you wanted or expected,
that my mind a haunted playground had you already rejected.

“This reality, only seems to fade away
tunnel vision when I am within eyesight of you.
Losing all sense of time, as the night fades into the day.
Becoming lost within the beauty of the muse.”

If we were not meant to last, you shall exist within my past.
The memories over time will decay, as shadows creep into my mind to play.
Leaving doubts, planting seeds of distrust.
Now becoming lost within a forest of thought,
Seeing gods; where ashes to ashes and dust to dust
Seeing a soul; that has become hopelessly lost.

“I had once saw the crystal clear blue skies above,
I had even once gave my heart over to unconditional love.
Not once, not twice, not even a third time but many, many more.
For in this life it would seem to be the only sane thing to die for.

Eternity Has Ended to Bring Forth New Hope

Passionately, a dull antenna stares West
as if expecting some request or remark
from exhumed, gaseous forms designed for
mindless entertainment.
It masturbated until the break of dawn
when all her hair fell.

This is what decreased your fatalities and
drove the crazy sane.
Dig my head into sand to prevent loss of thought through
absorption into your stagnant life from whence nothing returns.
With me I bring salvation for all,
but only imagination for some.
Share these words with your brethren so the
gregarious, gentle beasts may rest under the
blaze of a heat lamp casting down upon skin
with renditions of beauty creating fur as it
glides across Earth for an instant.

Eternity has ended to bring forth new hope.

The Year of Sincerity

Do we shatter every threshold at the age of twenty-four?
This year of even numbers amidst our growing nests,
beguiling us, enlightened souls, parts of sorted industry.

Their faces seem to glow with knowing and tantalizing thoughts,
ripe with trite, forbidden vows and lessons dealt by living.
As if adults to my dear child, those above who lay command
upon my infant ears and to my misted, doe-y eyes;
they speak and say "wait just a while -
the best has yet to come."
