Editorial: Had an editorial suggestion to replace gnats gnatting with something about them getting into drink to remind us how annoying it is to be stuck at home referring up to first verses.  I like gnats gnatting too.

Thank you very much.  And: Thank you very much.  And yes, for an awkward, spindly, pimply nerd, with glasses and a pipsqueak voice---faced every weekday morning with the kind of social interolerance that the aspects drew from the "beautiful" and "popular" people---that paper, despite its reprehensible subject, brought me a boost of confidence I had not experienced for a long, long time.  Required to be a minimum of ten pages, it ran to fifty-one, including a bibliography page.  During the writing of it, I would arrive home after shool, hurry through my other homework, and then give my evening/after-supper hours to the paper.  Sometimes, after bedtime, I would lay awake and, instead of fantasizing about whoever I happened to have a crush at that time (and that sometimes changed daily or weekly), I would review my progress on the paper in my head, thinking, "Ok, I want to include this next, or avoid that when I get to it, or go back and revise this or that word."  In less than twelve months, my first attempts at poetry would occupy me in the same way.

A compelling and very: A compelling and very believable inner monologue that sheds so much light upon the pathology of supremacist societies. Loved the cunning conclusion.    I'm pleased that you finally received the validation you deserved from one very astute teacher.

This poem...: ...means a great deal to me. I put my heart and soul into it. It comes from an experience of love one probably must live through to be able to write about it soberly. Thank you for your thoughtful compliment!
