This is a good piece of: This is a good piece of writing - a sort of bitter cement paved out into your foggy future. Forgive me, but while I can certainly relate to your frustrations and potential demise (for which, I hope against), allow me to say that perhaps you set the bar too high. We're all fallable, at least on some level. It's good to have standards, but remember room for forgiveness, and find people who will have that same forgiveness for you - whether you're actually wrong or not. Perception rules so much of our existence.

I Can't Remember: 2013. I probably felt great though. It is my usual state. Presently - I hear the world economy did not take the expected down-turn. Good news to help the blues fade ...a

most museums in Philly are: most museums in Philly are open but with very limited capacity.  You can actually look at the artwork without the crowds.  Although you still occasionally get the numbnuts that has to stand 3 feet in front of a painting and stare at it for 90 minutes.

Your adroit and inimitable: Your adroit and inimitable use of metaphor and simile to express an emotional state never---and I mean, NEVER---fails to amaze, impress, and instruct me.  In a very short time, you have become one of my very favorite poets on postpoems, and I gladly---and very enthusiastically---applaud your work, your talent, and your exquisite verbal constructions.

I am so grateful that you not: I am so grateful that you not only visit my poems, and not only comment, but you also tolerate my overly-verbose replies and my "old man" meanderings.  You have given me encouragements that will last for the remainder of my life, and I consider you my Mentor, as profoundly wise as my high school mentor was in 1975-76.  And I truly believe, and will repeat it here, that you are postpoems' most Major Poet, and that your collection of poems on this site is the site's supreme centerpiece.  And your poems prove that, repeatedly and consistently, as you post each one of them.
