Im not lonely,  I miss the: Im not lonely,  I miss the days of hope. News was for the adults and teens were discovering the possibilities of the world  before the grand disillusionment... I miss the hope, I miss the courage and resilience of the self. I miss the self determination and privacy.

Thank You!!!: Think about it like this: Seeing that the feather is a simile for the Seraph, she is essentially plucked from her cosmic comfort zone to commune with lower lifeforms, the mindless Old Grims. She could be hurt spiritually just to be there, falling sorrowful.

Lovely imagery out of this: Lovely imagery out of this world! Sleek moon... gibberish rings and rock... love the whole thing. 1 word sticks out hurt after feather... still analysing but it hasn't sat well with me yet. I'll find it though I'm sure to read this again and again. Hugss

response:   All lose a loved one.. infinite are the variations of this deepest pain. Your poem is beautiful and piercing.   For some reason your poem reminds me of Yeats' A Deep Sworn Vow

mars and venus:   One of my favorite Wilde lines is his comment on foxhunting: 'the unspeakable in full pursuit of the inedible'   An astrologer once told a man he had had conflict in resolving the relationship of his mars to his venus... and he replied "I was a Victorian lady in my last life.. very happy.. it has taken me 30 years to be happy in a man's body.. but I have arrived'

we love the stars ever inside: we love the stars ever inside you  thanks for being here 'sleek as the yes in your lover's eyes'      'your unfinished self, now the shape of devotion, now the mirror of stars,'

Fruitarian: A wonderful post. Steve Jobs said he was a fruitarian when he named his company Apple.   I bow to the mysticism inside of you.   I consider any fruit or nut tree, berry bush, or food bearing vine which drops gifts into our lap without killing the plant to be fruitarian.   I am a vegan who is fruitarian perhaps 80% of the time.. This is an article I wrote about it https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2021/01/28/18839619.php

Thanks Saiom <3: I believe in reincarnation, Maya, Nirvana, Samsara, etc. Yes I am fondly familiar with the philosophies you mark. I tried to become a monk once when I was younger, 20.

saiom commented on: BETRAYED BY MUSES by georgeschaefer 1 day 14 hours ago
thought provoking:     many writers have different cures for writer's block ... some go to bed affirming they will dream an answer ... and they keep notebook and pen by the bed.. others pray   still others immerse themselves in the poetry of others and are inspired... imho God indwells you.. and it is inevitable that the connection to every muse will grow stronger

response:   a wonderful autobiography...  several faiths teach reincarnation... ... mainly Eastern but in addition Christianity and Judaism have their mystical writings.. we are imho in a more conscious state until our rebirth process... those who after many lives have no more desire, ignorance or negative karma... are liberated from compulsory rebirth and merge in God     Your tiger in a cage metaphor is very powerful.. your language is beautiful
