We've all been there, but that doesn't make it any easier. A very identifiable feeling, precisely and skillfully expressed. Although the pain here is palpable, the expression is essential. Well done. You mention you have another 12 years to go on probation. As this was written in 2013, that would mean your probation would end next year. You won't be a slave to the penal system anymore.
