Thank you, sir. I appreciate: Thank you, sir. I appreciate your observation about the enjambment, and I gladly admit that I was trying to follow John Milton's example in regard to that; as well as to the subject matter.
Thank you: My favourite "saga" series of poems is Longfellow's "Tales of a Wayside Inn." A great series of separate stories, linked by the characters in the Wayside Inn telling their tall tales. Longfellow is sadly neglected today. He deserves a critical reassessment. A great poet. Thanks for the visit, Stella!
Respect: We should all be able to respect one another in spite of our different beliefs, whether we be Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, Agnostic or whatever. Sadly, this doesn't seem to be possible for some in this modern world.
"Before the day, the night: "Before the day, the night has gone"
Descriptive, visual, and temporal with high juxapositioning of the familiar. So much in so few thought units. A fine write.
Autumn: I love all the seasons, but autumn is special because all of nature's colours are on display. Good to see you back, Ron. You have been missed! Happy New Year!
