I've lost my pride

And found this shame

Don't know my face

Can't remember my name



I don't have a dime

Not even a penny

All I have are my tears

And there just are so many



I've been shut up in the dark

And I can't find the light

What was once so serene

Has been tossed in this fight



And I'm so lost

I can't find my way

What I once held in my hands

Has slipped to the ground..
