[Most certainly not after John Milton's dramatic poem, Samson Agonistes]

 

Some folks stood by the pillars as Samson brought down

the house and its roof; and, surely, each smirking smile

turned into a rather surprised and desperate frown;

perhaps feeling the moment's rush of ghastly panic

like those who rode the downward slide aboard Titanic,

lost like dog poop beneath the shattered rubble's pile.
