Down by the River

Folder:
Sonnets

Down by the river, down by the blue sea.

There was a young lady so very fine

Who whispered into seashells splendidly

Telling secrets that were on her mind

She spoke of love and never slept okay
then threw the seashells into the sea
Hoping a young man with come her way
And then listen to her heart lonely pleas

Each colorful seashell had her secrets
Why her lonely heart wanted to believe
A man to love without any regrets
A lover who never lied or deceived

Each seashell was tossed with hopeful wishes
That one day she would be filled with kisses

Wonderful fairytale tone to this one ..Elates the mood.Had my mind wander to a pretty sea shore with  deep blue sea and rippling waves. Even in this warm hot sultry Coalcutter this came as a whiff of ozone fresh air .. Thanks for posting this oneSmile
