On the Road

One road too many,

One road too small

I've yet to reach you

Lord knows I've heard the calls

Drifting into places unknown

Whispers that resonate lies

Ain't got money for a phone

The pigeons are your spies

One road too far

I'll walk them all alone

Who needs a fancy car

When you're on your own

One road to the next

I've read all the signs

No turning back now

Just the dust I've left behind

Enjoyment of the road

It ain't easy out there but it's so worth the experience. Trust and faith are key. As well as keen awareness.
