DESERT CATHEDRAL

Folder:
2012

Into desert wilderness goes the child,
Majesty of strength follows.
Within the barren Holy Garden,
Where hidden beauty abides,
For the one who hunts,
A golden-winged falcon glides.
Victory draws nigh.
Little winter flower,
Frozen no more,
Awaits the coming spring,
With great anticipation.
Lament is transformed into wondrous awe,
When into Great Cathedral carried,
Seven notes repeat which
Weave a tapestry upon wings of angels,
Saints join the throng,
A perimeter of worship.
Heaven's doors opened!
Holiness and Presence
Revealed purity of white glimpsed.
Breath taken.
Taste of silence,
Glorious melody of stringed instruments,
Lavish grace and mercy,
Upon souls with bended knees,
Peace and healing,
Soothing the soul as Mary's lullaby,
At the end of the day.
