Star Quiet

Folder:
2007

Star Quiet, soul of night
Casts its shadow upon the wilderness of heaven
In the silence of that realm
She burns ever so intensely
Enduring the fire of much suffering,

Pressing against the veil
Aching to break through
Grasping with all of her might
Holding onto the Spirit’s Breath
She remains brave, steadfast, and humble.

Powerless the universe to illumine
Helpless to radiate His love
Useless an instrument in His hand
Unless she be bathed
In the ashes of desert’s summer.

Star Quiet, soul of night
Feeling alone and far away
Yet within two trinities forever embraced
In the inferno of sacred flames
Transformed to change eternity.

Fulfilled purpose in mysterious solitude
Yet surrounded by countless others
Who shine because of even her slightest touch
All drinking the music of garden’s love
From the heart-strings of their King.
