DYSTOPIA

DYSTOPIA

Entangled and entrenched in a mysterious maze,

No positives and all negatives I got myself to be strangled;

Lippy but cheeky, I feel I have an incubus; and I

Loaf around with a colored glass vision.

I envisage my life to be at docks,

Enlisting worries to be too many, but literally having less.

Eldritch, I malign my life and put it heavily down,

When there is no such ghost of that sort to needle me.

Unwarranted, I seem to kow-tow my dystopia,

Though true; it seem to be unrealistic and non-existing,

How come, my mind garners so much respect?

To a thing, which I’ve on my own, taken to be as such.

Baffled by this strange but unusual behavior,

I feel I’m abashed and indignant, lest I care;

I got to galvanize myself to set my house in order,

As this might take me to an undisclosed destiny, if I don't care.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Imaginary worries at times enage us sparing no time to get away from them.  Hence, the mind is preoccupied with unrealistic and non-existing matters that let us down

Much Ado About Nothing !!! Nice one on shadow boxing !!

Daily grind in the mindless chores

Opaque Desitiny forever soars

The civilian minion being crushed

The pestle & mortar of modern life

Hoping when Fate will end the strife..... Written spontaneously after reading your poem My Good Mr Ben Sir. Have a nice day!!

Mr.  Bishu,

It's exactly, shadow boxing and nothing else.

Nice to know that you have understood the in and out of it.

Nevertheless, it's much ado about nothing, as said.

Thanks for being so responsive.
