Dusty Bottle

I live with a wonderful roommate,

his clothes covered in soot,

matching the elements of his work,

he coughs away the dollars dust,

in an empty bottle he puts

his tobacco words away,

A miner is no celebrity,

no sage for the limelight,

but an honest job it is.

He dances moonstruck

Under Ringtown lights

a bottle of Yuengling all his need,

he hopes to one day join his lineage,

upon the dusty bridge of golden beams.
