What I want you to know about me...

I loved to write since I was a little girl. It is my dream to write full-time as my career, and I have faith and believe that is going to happen. I am very spiritual and believe in karma. What we do in this life and how we treat people matters. I try to live my life with love, acceptance, and open-mindedness. I try to live in the moment and not focus on the past or the future.
As you can see from my picture, I have a precious Chihuahua, named Ziggy, who is my heart. I love him more than anything! I am also very close to my mom, my sister, and my nephew. I am lucky and blessed to have such a great family and great friends. I also love to read, love music, and love art. Oh, and lately I have been addicted to almost every game on Facebook! lol

Well, about my navel, hmm.... I never really gave it much thought. I'll have to get back to you on that one. Strange question! lol

Favorite Stuff (poets, poems, quotes, hobbies, etc.)

I love to write (obviously), I love to read (belong to a book club), and I love music and art. I am an avid animal lover, and adore my Chihuahua, and I have two cats who are awesome. I am family-oriented and try to spend as much time with my family as possible. I also am very blessed to have a close network of friends who always support me no matter what. Oh, and I love to watch movies and attend any type of play (theater). Haven't had a chance to attend many plays, but I would love to see one on Broadway someday!
I just graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology about two years ago. I am a psychiatric technician and work at a personal care home for people diagnosed with severe mental disorders. I like my job, love the people, but it is very challenging at times. I give a lot of myself every day, so I have to make sure I rejuvenate and relax often. Writing is a huge part of that process and a huge release!
