When will the
Land of the free
Actually mean
The land of the free
We pride ourselves
On being that country
Of freedom
Yet certain people
Are still not
Allowed to marry
Who they want to marry
Just because
Some people
Just don't agree
With or approve of it
We can't keep
Having it both ways
We can't keep saying
We are the land
Of the free
And only have it
Apply to some
And not others
If we are the land of the free
Than everyone should
Be free to share the
Same rights as
Everyone else
Not just the people
Others approve of
