I Stole Them

You tell me my writing is fake, you've heard it all before
I would hope you have, you just don't even know what to look for

I stole it all from you guys
I know it's no real surprise
I've taken what you've written and mashed it all together
So that it can keep itself warm during the cold weather

You actually think someone like me can write some of the things I've said
The way some of you look at me, you must think that I'm imbred
The way I look, the way I sound the way I speak
He must be twenty times worse than a geek

Sometimes I even run to the textbooks to steal the rhymes that they previously written
But I see I'm not the only one whose done that, the only difference is those were once handwritten

You tell me my writing is fake, you've heard it all before
I would hope you have, you just don't even know what to look for
You tell me my writing is fake, you've heard it all before
I would hope you have, you just don't even know what to look for

Now if you've actually believed one word that I've said
Then you seriously need to stop dead

I pull everything from the heart that beats inside my chest
My brain puts those words together, my fingers do the rest
As the words lay out on the screen before me
I know that what I'm going through, only I will truly see
