Thank you.  This is the first

Thank you.  This is the first poem, about that time and that event, that seems to have a haunted feeling to it.  The title came from that greatest of all ghost storires, Shirley Jackson's terrfying novel, The Haunting of Hill House.  I try not to pick favorites among my poems; although, following a precedent from Wallace Stevens, who did, I am very fond of this one.
