Thank you.  This actually did

Thank you.  This actually did happen, on that date and in that place, and I was reading Vergil at the time.  Her words, though, were said with some real tears, tears she had for my tears.  It was a mess; it destroyed several friendships; and because of the small campus, everyone knew about it.
