Wishes For Final Arrangements

Starward must be on my gravestone,

standing over and above my mundane name:

the appellation Jesus restored to me;

signed, as vocative, to my poetry;

not the other, though perhaps more known,

on which gleeful parents and peers poured shame,

mostly in hard words of profanity.

Author's Notes/Comments:

LEST I ALARM A CONCERNED OR KIND READER:  No jeopardy, of which I am aware, compels this poem.  Its content needs only to be put on the record---that I wished to be buried as q.v., the appellation (after nearly interminable search) to which I believe God has led me, and our Blessed Mother, the Ever Virgin Mary, gently guided me to accept.
