NIGHT RHAPSODY

Black sky stares:

Open your eyes my love,

And light up my dark, dark world.

Still silence:

Let me hear you talk,

And fill the space with music.

Clammy air:

Let your modest smile,

Induce some warmth all around.

Fear lingers:

Let lovers’ embrace,

Unclasp the ghosts of loneliness.

this made me cry! Tell me is it unprofessional to want to hug the poet who wrote these words just from my simple reading of them? I could just sniff it off and say your words just stole the moisture from my tear ducts but I won't lie. I was moved by the heart behind the words
aching to reach out and touch and be touched by love.
Proof that there is beauty in even despair. well, rest assured, there will be no more tears my dear.
you know who......... so why type it?
