FIGHTING THE STORMS

Would you O my beloved,

Watch the tides and what they say,

Will you take care of the sea,

While I control the stormy cloud?

This journey of a thousand years,

Is like a second when you are with me,

Bravely smiling at the tides,

And helping me vanquish our fears.

What about the thunderous roar,

What about the lightning flash,

With a true heart by my side,

This boat will one day reach the shore.

Should I tell you what you mean,

To me O my friend beyond time?

Don't our songs quieten the storms,

Isn't the power within us sublime?

Author's Notes/Comments:
