MORE OF TRUTH AND POETRY

Nothing matters,

but the truth,

For truth has no opposite,

lies or chatter,

Truth is truth,

and is immortal,

while lovers die,

with their kisses stilled,

Eternity witnesses,

only the truth.

This is my second response to Deborah Russell's views on truth and poetry (Read my poem Poetry and truth) to which Deborah replied with "Hardball games." The debate continues with Deborah responding with "Sage".
