And my time was brief.
Knowing of your divinity
was and still is... Amazing and surreal
and our time together was brief.
Hearing your disappointment with me,
Indescribable, repremandable, and at times a little annoying.
Because my time for you is brief
Feeling the distance I need to keep between us-
is distracting detrimental and painful.
Because time just remains brief.
Understanding that I truly love you selflessly,
is what will keep us standing and understanding.
Because lifetimes are just brief
