I am no stranger to my sins
For I have many
I've got skeletons residing in every closet in My mind
I have made many mistakes along the way
some of which keep coming back to haunt me
like ghost's from a graveyard with nothing else to do
they're always here to taunt me
Every sunrise each morning brings about a new day
but from where I reside they all look the same as yesterday
every facet of my mind screams to get away
But where to go , that I haven't already been
Every highway or byway that I have taken on this journey
has led in ever tightening circles back to here
There is no Technicolor in this life of mine just different shades of gray
no defined lines of black or white only variable degrees of whats not right
with the revelation that there is no divine intervention on such a small scale
I alone fight the turmoil an injustices in my day to day life
along with the voices in my head hoping if I am wrong I'll only
end up in the first of Dante's nine levels of Hell
