Ode to my love

Folder:
Poems

I kiss the sky
where the raven fly
knowing that one day
I will fly there too.
Indigo blue
tell me what I dream is true.
Because I hear,
drawing near
what I fear
they’re calling
telling me your sky is falling.

She comes to me
as beautifully
as night flows slowly
through twilight's door
and I’ll love her forever more
love her forever more.

I kiss the sea
Neptune will you welcome me?
My heart is tired of swimming alone
wrap me in foam I will dive to depths unknown
for her as my bride
I’ll abide in your widest ocean
dressed in white to prove my devotion

She comes to me
as seductively
as the ocean
kissing a sighing shore
and I’ll love her forever more
love her forever more.

I kiss the earth
Mother of eternal birth
you may have my first breath
and my last
where in your past
Was the line of my life cast?
As you reel me in – feel me
we’re connected on this mortal line
she and I belong for all time.

She comes to me
as incessantly
as frost at midnight
in Winter’s core
and I’ll love her forever more
love her forever more
forever more.
