Poems have been my way of clearing my head, my way of getting in touch with what I truly feel. I began writing poetry when I was a teenager. I share my early work here not because I think the mechanics of my poetry were so very good. I share it because it represents how I felt then. I share my beginnings as a writer. I want to encourage others here at this site to get in touch with how they feel through poetry. It doesn't have to be good poetry. It just has to be about real feelings. Know what I mean?
