I worry

I worry I'm lost

I worry I'll never be found

I worry for those who see me

I worry for those who don't

I worry I'll die alone

I worry that love doesn't exist

I worry I'll never find it

I worry for impending failure

I worry for unguaranteed success

I worry for my story

Never being told.

I worry:

In your poem you have listed so much to worry about. Relax enjoy your study and make friends, and not so much worry.

From what I have heard you

From what I have heard you are perfectly normal. Everyone I know who leaves home for college... (and some not for college) have the same anxiety. In fact, the only ones who I have known who never had anxiety are all the spoiled brats. Lol.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

I'd like to think so :)

I'd like to think I was in fact normal.

The anxiety hasn't gone away though; it’s always been there, since I can remember.

As for the spoiled brats, what I would give to be in their shoes Embarassed

No!!! I know it sounds

No!!! I know it sounds insane, but be grateful. There are always dollar stores, and if need be, counselors and even just quitting altogether. Half the time...the dream of college is not the child's wish....but the parent's wish for the child, so it makes sense there would be anxieties about many things. I wish for you a great education on "how to obtain inner joy and peace" ;-)

....keep writing!! ♥♥♥ much love and light.

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

Wholeheartedly Agree!

THANKS! FOR YOUR KIND WORDS! :).

I wholeheartedly agree with what you've said.

Although, as University is the next logical step, I feel its something I need to do, to be as close to a well-rounded human being as possible. Every person should have a degree in academia of their own choosing.

Great, and nice to see your

Great, and nice to see your attitude more positive than the poem. Worry is senseless...a waste of energy. Now with that attitude you can have both with a little hope and luck...and of course hard hard work!!!
