For past acts

and thinking ill of others

there is redemption. If

acts were evil, forgiveness

will take time. Start

with you. Start with me.

Prisons were designed

to be places of rehabilitation,

but some lived in Hell too long

and are too far beyond redemption.

For them, forgiveness is not

on the table and nowhere

near the plate.

But the little sins, the judgmentless

actions done in a group or because

of a mentor, these can go swiftly down

the drain of uncivilized behavior. Without

redemption for deeds done in the past,

the future can not heal.
