A Mosaic Of Sorts

A New View

Emotions have zigzagged

across the spectral sphere of warmth
outside and sweaters in late afternoon.

Like the thermometer, I go up, I go down

because sunset is a time for chillin'.

It was a day for printing out poetry

on white 8.5" x 11" paper. I am 5ft 6ins

grown and ate 2.5 pieces of Easter

chocolates today. I peeked outside

to see how much snow had melted

and saw that the daffodils are 2.1

to 4.3 inches up in the front yard garden.

The written down is making a measured

response to the day’s events hourly.
