How Well Do You Sleep At Night?

A New View

Misery inflicted

rips apart the strands

that hold the heart

to a piece.

The eyes water,

the chest tugs at reasons

and end in assisting

sobs and futility.

Death is not supposed

to be a welcome release

here. How do you know

that a child died because

you did not give them food

or water?

How well do you sleep

at night knowing?

Sadly, the person that does

Sadly, the person that does give food and water to the child today will probably have more difficulty sleeping than the person that didn't help.

It Requires Altruism

Yes, sad. The death of a child is sad who died here from dehydration and hunger. What's sad is that they may feel no remorese at all. I lost lifetime on that one.
