Who I Think I Am

Folder:
Vintage Words

.

First a woman, a body

beautiful, a mind they

called a terrible

waste.

I never saw me in the eyes
of others or mentors
or close relatives. I saw
what I could become,
what I needed to become.
.
Too imaginative, too practical.
Getting ahead on the route up
ladder. Not too shabby. Never

was. I am safe and possible

Keep hoping some body wreck
will find me. Memory bad,

imagination still firing, a

vocabulary check brain, arthritis,

at minimYep. Still on the make

market.
