Self-Portrait #2

.

Rejoice!

The mole

is gone!

.

The left

eye no longer

carries a pea

sized weight

of obstruction.

.

When the stitches

disolve, I will

be beautiful,

which will be

a miracle

since I was just

okay looking

before the surgery.

.

So, rejoice. I can

see the world

again clearly. Well

maybe not clearly,

just the stuff

that I encounter

in it.

Beauty winks

and blinks

the vision thinks
