Who I Was Once

Folder:
Vintage Words

.

Who I was

has relevance

to a point.

.

Much is gone,

has been revised,

or edited out

forever.

.

I am who I

was, of course,

just layered

like parfait.

.

I have brilliant

colors where I

was dull as dirt

before.

.

When newer, the

lack of knowing

was an enemy

to be challenged.

.

The present me

wonders if the old

me will come back

when the mind

fades and the memory

of then to now

begins to vanish.

Lost And Found

People have layers as levels of experience; to grow from or be warped by (depending on how happy or hellish their lives). Chaos theories abound :D

Glad You Empathize
