When Love Dies

Loss of a lover is like death

by drowning or from walls falling

on your head leaving scars

and fatal dints. You promised

yourself to not let that

happen. Coming back from the dead

is painful.

Old love sits in the wings

sharpening it's blades, getting

ready to strike and slay. New

love watches the street through

dirty windows waiting for its next

The end of the world will arrive

soon enough without help from those

who lose love and die. Imagine

a world around you devoid of light.

on hold until some middling sort

of love arrives in potency with

a knack for renovation. Sunrise

is a time for rising from the tomb.

Love is out there, immovable as a

tombstone, waiting for another

chance to offer you murderous

What is real Hell?  Loving

What is real Hell?

Loving someone so much you change you're self into what you thought was what She wanted an what was needed as a Husband, Father ,Friend an Lover.

Quit the mercenary outlaw life raised 4 kids between the 2 of us then when the last one is out of school .......... Yep you guessed it  She walked away saying She'd never had the chance to see what the other lifestyle. ......and I wasn't going back to it......loved her enough to tear down the wall's, shead My armor and in the end ......a knife hilt deep into the chest .....

I survived as I always do but I'm treading in a pool of darkness wondering not if but when I'm going to Drown

Every story-teller bends the myth to his own purpose. that's why a Hero has a thousand faces

True love never dies  Though

True love never dies

Though it changes

Often hard to keep track of

But it moves through positive negative and neutral

Because love never bores us

Only familiarity does.

Hurt won't change it either

It will live on even in the darkest time

That sad part is you only need one

One person who loves

The rest is not obligatory.

And that's what I love about love

It's an ever changing phoenix

Popping up on time or most inopportune

And the risk of it all crashing down is

Only equal to the love you're willing to gain. ;)

Tough Cookie, Love

high/low, up, plummeting - savor the good part, banish to bad memory stores the awful portions, like slicing fat from meat. I could have lived without the "crashing walls" or the need for new ones. - Stella
