Lost Lines

Repeat the great lines

that come to you when you

have no pen and paper

to record and lock them down,

preserved to read later

and perhaps share.

Repeat the best lines ten

times so that later it comes

back after having walked around

in the psyche for an hour or

so, marinating.

It may not be exact or complete,

but sometimes preserving an idea's

essence is all you can salvage.

To many to remember not

To many to remember not enough to discourage me from finding them again! Yes indeed a poets worst moments...

Don't let any one shake your dream stars from your eyes, lest your soul Come away with them! -SS

I've Lost Entire Poems

not concentrating - too busy to find a pen to put down the particularly okay series of words. All that is left is a memory that they were pretty good and gone forever. Thank you for the visit and for taking your valued time to comment - love and prayers ~a~

If you only knew

But then

If I only cared.

Who cares anyway ?

I throw them to the air .

Catch them if you can.

See em

Way up there.

If you only knew.

If I only cared.
