Out of The Mist

Millions were spent on the FX
and the movie was a blockbuster
all because you rode that horse
out of impossibly dense mist.

Armor on a hero is fine
but the gold plate on horse
and man caught what light
was there just right.

Critics will refer to this scene
for a hundred years
as the quintessential shot
of a man emerging from
obscurity.

For me, it was all things hidden
revealed. The only questions
to be voiced is where do
you find a horse like that
and who made all that
wondrous mist?
