History

.

Like bread crumbling
or bent twigs as cave
markings. Footprints..
.
The tale told and written

in strange hieroglyphics
and no one will ever
know what the poet
intended.
.
Bones, fossils, clay encased contracts,
say some thing. Some one passed
this way and left tracks.
.
a millennia from now, sand diggers
will pass this way, discover in tact
postpoems and wonder "What

were they trying to tell us?"
