Lullaby di grano

Folder:
#Italy

i.

In golden pastures,

you are the wind, moving

me in satiny breathes, like

stalks of

wheat

whimpered whirls, lost in midair

I am defenseless against

honeyed caresses

ii.

I am bound to you in ribbons

of longing

with bated breaths, &

closed eyes

count me admist all your

belongings

& set me free, not, from

bindings of surprise--s

dare love me without seeing,

I'm in your posession, like

grains in your palms

as yearning plummets into needing

press your ear to the

wind,

as she praises you

with song;

iii.

"Where the sea kisses the earth

softening grains of forgotten land,

Where I lay stripped of all barriers,

&  blanketed in your hands,

Where the purity of skin awaits -still

like silken sheets of unmarred snow,

Where the dessert's thirst is quenched,
& trees of oak & maple grow"

iv.

take me away to a place, where
time won't change us

a place where time, only
advances love
