Melting like a cone
I hate the flavor
But I’ll suck it up
Off the pavement if I must
I won’t let a single taste
Go to waste

Bridge the gap
A lesser evil
Give in to it
Can’t stop the minutes
Plip plop
A grain of sand
Tick tock moves the hand
