A Hypothesis To Test

Oh, the cascading effect

Likened to a snowball rolling that collects

Layers and layers upon itself

As if what it was is better hidden beneath the depths

Of layers of frigidness

It's a metaphor at best

Life is a lesson you can't respect

Until you've started living it

And, begin to collect the interest on what you've invested

Of your heart once broken, twice blessed

It's only then can you truly attest to what it means to live

It's a hypothesis to test

Is it cause

Is it effect

Is it a difference

Is it a relationship

Or, just a statistic

It's inconclusive, unless

What makes a heart protect itself

Can be proven factually as pride manifest

And, not the girl that left

That caused the fear and hurt of heart to collect

The layers of frigidness around itself

It's a moment to reflect
