That's When You Know

Time to release them

These ninety-nine walls surrounding you

The prism you're looking through

Leaves you seeing nothing

Except distorted and deeper shades of blue

But, don't you know, soon

Those walls will crumble down too

Like a prison suffocating you

Stealing the last ray of light shining through

Dousing the very thing your heart is longing for

Until the very thing you heart is longing for

Is so far gone you can't remember why your feet still move

That's when you know it's stolen you

And, you can long you're whole life

For life to come to you

You can play dumb and deny

It's not you who's fallen asleep

But, life itself that didn't seek you

And, in that very moment

The very one owning you

When you start believing your own words

That's when you know it's stolen you

You've got to break it down

To the parts and not their summed up, so-called cues

Seperate the eyes of one

From the population surrounding you

And, see that light still persists

And, know that if your prism shifts

Your point-of-view

It may not have been the one that left the ninety-nine

But, the herd that purged the one loose

That's when you know who's leading who

That's when you know choice is a word

Love is a truth
