Ode To Briercrest

In the middle of prairie nothingness

Stands a cross, high and large

The symbol of a small town

Where the Word of God is learned

A quick trip down the road

Reveals an array of peoples

A smorg of different cultures

Joining together in their educations

A visit to the mess hall

Standing in line for your meal

Can often result in new friendships

These people whom you will spend much time around

The dorm life is like no other

A time to grow in your faith

A time to meet new friends

And to develop a new sense of community

Come sit in the Gourmet Bean

A place for all to meet and hang out

This is truly a place to relax

And allow the mind to relax after a day of school

The chapel is a sacred place

Where students come to meet with their Lord

And where each day a new teaching is brought

By a student, a teacher, or a guest

Many events happen during the year

A musical, a missions festival, and so much more

All of these events bringing studens together more

Travel to nearby Moose Jaw

Where you can go to a movie, swim, or just hang out

The tunnels offer a lesson in our past

The spa gives us a quick glance into the future

Or perhaps you just want to take a trip to the Pilgrim Restaurant

A place to eat some great food and have some great conversations

This is indeed a meeting place of many different places

So whether you live in Whittaker, Bergmann, Brygmann, Lewis Apartments

Sundbo, Glen Manor,Hillson, or Fender

There is always something for you to do

Whether taking your brother or sister dorm on a dorm date

Or just taking a nice quiet walk

Briercrest allows us all to do what we love

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is a little out-dated, seeing as the restaurant (Pilgrim) I mentioned does not exiust anymore, and has been replaced by a Subway...
