I am in the background

My thoughts are not those that I express

I work at learning more about you

Yet there is always something new



I know not how to go about this

I wish I could make my feelings known

Yet I feel as though I can not

This sends my head spinning



I want to speak to you

Express my thoughts

But still can not



Until the day that I feel I can

I will just be here

Knowing these feelings

And yet not being able to tell you
