Sometimes

I try not to think

But then I realize

My every thought is of you



No matter how I try

I can't not think of you

Your hair, Your eyes

Your laugh; I am in love



I don't know when it happened

Or even why

But if I could

For you, anything I would buy



And if you didn't want things

Then I would give you anything you wanted

If you wished, I could sing

No matter how much I got taunted



But instead, I keep my love to myself

Hide it up on a shelf

No one knows except me

For I keep it under lock and key



Perhaps some day, I'll get the courage

To tell you how I feel

But until then, I'll love you from afar

And hope that someday, you may feel the same
