SOLITUDES CHILD

I try to run away,
But find my back against the wall,
So I hide in the shadows,
And curl up into a ball.

All that I want,
Is to be left alone,
As my pain slowly kills me,
Heart turning to stone.

I was forced into solitude,
At an early age,
But now it's my choice,
My life's empty page.

They say I "just want attention",
But they don't seem to know,
I truly hate my life,
But fear to let it go.
