Erotic poetry, yoga, and serving the suffering humanity

Have been writing poetry for about four decades with 17 collections of poems to my credit. Enjoy writing and reading briefer poems, especially haiku and tanka.
Professionally, have been concerned with writing skills development and communciation skills of the tertiary and post tertiary level students of science and technology.
A couple of books on my poetry,NEW INDIAN ENGLISH POETRY: AN ALTERNATIVE VOICE (ed: I K Sharma), R.K.SINGH'S MIND AND ART (ed: Rajni Singh), and CRITICAL PERSPECTIVES ON THE POETRY OF R.K.SINGH, D.C.CHAMBIAL AND I.K.SHARMA (ed. K.V.Dominic) have appeared, providing depper analyses and interpretation of my poems. I have published 42 books, 160 research articles and over 170 book reviews. My haiku and tanka collection, THE RIVER RETURNS, was published by Prakash Book Depot, Bareilly (email: rahulbareilly@yahoo.com) in 2006. The latest collection, NEW AND SELECTED POEMS TANKA AND HAIKU, is published by Authors Press, New Delhi (authorspress@rediffmail.com) in 2012.
Widely anthologised and translated to French, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Esperanto, Bulgarian, Greek, Japansese, Italian, Croatian, Romanian, Slovene, Chinese, Bengali,Kannada, and Tamil.
